13.09 Dooorp at Laak. After a summer break we are officially back at our favorite club. This is just a pre opening of our new season @laak.bar. this time with something very special. Not only a community diner (for just €15 plus entry) but also our first club night. More info and promo coming soon.

August unfolds with its own rhythm. One event flowing into the next, each with a different vibe, a different crowd, a different feeling.

We kicked things off with a Blockparty at the Sweatshop.
Then slowed down by the water, where Grittygun, Iona, Robbin and Young Gaina set the tone with laid-back sounds and a warm gathering at De Bootjes.

Up next is Our Roots, a gathering for Palestine hosted by DAAWI. An evening full of music, food, stories and connection.

After that, FFÛH steps in. A young poetry collective from The Hague creating space for new voices through open mics and readings. Expect words that stick and moments that bring us together.

To close the month, De Winkol returns with a fashion show in the open air. Style, movement and presence as the sun goes down.

Come hang whenever it feels right.

@hardslag_dnb Hardslag.dnb is a drum & bass collective from The Hague, founded by three friends: Bjurran (@pandabjurran ), Dean (@pitchdnb ) en Alex (@alexmeza____ ). They bring raw, high-energy DnB events to different spots around the city — mixing jungle, jump-up and liquid, always free and always rooted in a real love for the music.

This Thursday May 15, they’re joining us at @laak.bar for a night full of DnB, good people and a rotating DJ lineup — a new set every 30 minutes.
Entry is completely free, no ticket needed. Just swing by, have a drink, and vibe with us.

This Wednesday, GemSessions will take over Bootjes.

GemSessions is an open jam session where musicians come together, play their instruments, join the intuitive noise making and see where the music takes them—no setlist, no pressure, just a search for connection. Every session is different, so it will always be a sound you will not hear again.

Together with Dooorp, they’ll turn Bootjes into a space for live music alongside spontaneous features like DJs, dancing, or simply chilling.

On April 30th, Project 4 Equality is hosting our bootjes event this Wednesday!
This intersectional feminist organization from The Hague is dedicated to equality, inclusion, and raising awareness through creativity and connection. With a mix of art, music, dialogue, and activism, P4E creates safe spaces for anyone affected by patriarchal structures. Their events are open, empowering, and full of moments for reflection and exchange.

This edition features a full-day program including feminist films in the bunker, a book swap, communal art projects, a clothing swap, shared dinner, open mic, and a dance party with DJs. Come by and connect with a movement that’s working locally for global change.
